Nixie Spritesheet

Version 37.1 by Victor Zhang on 17:28, 21/05/2020

  • During the development of the GDice app ( the log will be posted soon ), I was experimenting ways to display numbers
  • One particular way interested me that has the nostalgic feeling, called Nixie Tube
    • End up not using it, but it's a good test
    • Built using Autodesk Fusion 360
      • Solid modeling , will not be polygon efficient for game rendering
      • Rendered as spritesheet, as f360 has a pretty easy to tune rendering system that's almost photo realistic
    • Result put in : Nixie Tube Spritesheet
    • Packed using Texturepacker's free version
      Rendered using Orthogonal CameraNixieOrth.png
      Rendered using Perspective CameraNixiePers.png
  • CDN and phaser is used
var Phaser = require(['https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/phaser@3.23.0/dist/phaser.js']);
setTimeout( () => {
  let ph_imageaddrbase = Window.location + "/WebHome/";
  class phScene extends Phaser.Scene {
    constructor ()
    {
        super({ key: 'phscene' });
    }
    preload ()
    {
    }
    create ()
    {
    }
  }
// phaser config
  let ph_game_config = {
    type: Phaser.AUTO,
    width: 800,
    height: 600,
    backgroundColor: '#000000',
    parent: 'phaser-parent',
    scene: phScene
  };
  let ph_game = new Phaser.Game(ph_game_config );
}, 1000);
